Does it wait for JavaScript?

Yes. The page loads in Chromium, its scripts run, and the capture waits until the network has been quiet for half a second, up to five seconds. Content a single-page app renders in that time is in the image. Through the API, waitForSelector waits for a specific element instead.

It runs on the same capture API you would call with a key, so you can see exactly what a capture returns before you create an account. Every run is a real page load in a real Chromium browser.

3 runs an hour from each network, shared with the API playground. Viewports are between 320 and 1600 pixels wide, and full-page capture, PDF, cookies, headers and custom scripts are not available here. All free runs also draw on one shared monthly allowance, so the tool can occasionally be unavailable until it resets. A free account gets 100 credits a month of its own, and a basic capture costs 1.

Is the page I capture saved?

The capture is not. The tool does not ask the API to save it, so the image and the Markdown come back to your browser in the response and are not kept. The request itself, including the URL you entered, is recorded in the request log like every API call.

Which pages can it not capture?

Anything on a private or local network address is refused. Behind a login or a captcha, you get the login or verification page rather than the content. Captures leave from a single network address with no proxy rotation, so a site that blocks that address cannot be captured.
